GENEVA MOTOR SHOW 2018

Here we are gonna take look at the glimpse of  the Geneva motor show 2018
1. The KYBURZ eRod offroad unveiled at Geneva International Motor Show 2018

An electric powered dune buggy. It has large and bulky tyres and long spring travel to ensure optimum traction and sufficient ground clearance. These features enable the contemporary rebirth of a dune buggy to rummage through any terrain – without losing any of the rear-wheel drive open-air driving pleasure

Technical specification
Weight (incl. battery)    600 kg battery
19.2 kWh, 96 V / 200 Ah Performance
45 kW / 140 Nm
Range (EU 134/2014) 183 km
Top speed    120 km/h

2. The Jaguar i-Pace.
The Jaguar i-Pace has a near 200hp motor on both the front and rear axle, enabling four-wheel drive. Given electric motors produce high-on max torque from zero revs, the i-Pace sails off the line eagerly. The aluminium Jaguar claims a 0-62mph sprint of 4.8sec.
Like other electrified cars, the i-Pace features regenerative braking, where the electric motor acts as a generator before the friction brakes kick in. This i-Pace is in high-regenerative mode: step off the accelerator, and the Jag slows noticeably but smoothly.

3.Mission E Cross Turismo: Porsche
Porsche launches the all-terrain electric estate car with 600bhp. The strengths of this cross utility vehicle (CUV) include a design with striking off-road elements as well as an innovative display and operating concept with touchscreen and eye-tracking control. with a low-cut bonnet between heavily curved wings, the front of the car reveals its relationship to the iconic ‘911'.
It has projected performance figures of 0–100 km/h in <3.5 seconds, 0–200 km/h in <12 seconds and a top speed over 250 km/h (155 mph). Porsche is aiming for the Mission E to achieve a range of over 500 km (311 mi).The car has a system power of 800 V DC. The batteries can be charged by an inductive plate or with a conventional charger system. Porsche claims that with the Porsche Turbo charging system the battery is charged to 80% in just 15 minutes

4. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV  (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle)
  • Powered by two electric motors, and a 2.4L Atkinson cycle petrol engine replaces the previous regular Otto cycle 2.0 liter, one motor for the front wheels, one for the rear, produces 60 kW (80 hp) and maximum range is; depending on your driving style, about 22 miles. Combined muscle is rated at 197 hp. The transmission is a single speed, fixed reduction gear that performs like a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and works the same with EV, hybrid, and all gas modes. It allows for higher torque, smoother operation, and overall higher efficiency.
  • The generator output is increased by 10%.
  • The rear motor output is increased by 10%.
  • The drive battery capacity is increased by 15%.
  • The drive battery output is increased by 10%

5. Rinspeed SNAP

Rinspeed brings a snap-in module onto autonomous electric "skateboard" chassis.

An all-electric self-driven chassis, so according to this Swiss company they put everything valuable and intelligent in skate park chassis which are convenient and comfort-oriented, the pot can be vertiue anything of two parcels to sow to appear part to whatever you want. so on the weekend you'd like to have different private sauna escape road ring of the sound apart and leave it for two-three hours takes it off again and you come to a completely new ecosystem.

6. Renault Zoe
The Zoe e-Sport is powered by two electric motors that produce a combined 466hp and 640Nm of peak torque; its claimed 0- 100kph time is a rapid 3.2sec.
The standard Zoe is powered by a new 41kWh battery, up from the 22kWh unit that was used in the previous model. It has a driving range of up to 400km (under the European driving cycle) and takes 65min for an 80 percent charge via a quick charger. Renault claims a real-world driving range of 300km and also a full-charge time of 8-9 hours using a standard 7kW charger.

7. Navya Autonom
The autonom shuttle has four radar, six cameras and a lidar. which helps it to drive seamlessly on to the road.

It was specifically designed to meet the needs of an autonomous, driverless vehicle while also optimizing navigation and safety features. With neither a steering wheel nor pedals, AUTONOM SHUTTLE uses effective guidance and detection systems that combine various types of advanced technology. Data from Lidar sensors, cameras, GPS RTK, IMU, and odometry is merged together and interpreted by deep learning programs. AUTONOM SHUTTLE moves about efficiently and makes proficient decisions.

8. Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion Autonomous Car
The new cool looking Volkswagen I.D is a fully electric autonomous car and has no steering wheel.
Yes, we are moving to an age when a driverless car heads into production and Volkswagen, with its I.D. Vizzion concept, showed the brand's idea of what the future will be like.
It's laden with lasers, radar sensors, cameras, and more which have been brilliantly masked. The computers monitor traffic data from the cloud and compare it with what the on-board sensors show. VW also imagines using vehicle-to-vehicle communication as yet another method of gathering info about the road ahead.
The VW I.D Vizzion comes with an electric motor up front making 101 horses and another at the rear with 201 horses. Under the floor, a 111-kilowatt-hour which has a range of 665 km.

9.Sin S1
This one is one of the most bizarre debuts at the 2018 Geneva mostor show is the sin S1. The Bulgarian company Sin advertises the S1 as an
“affordably priced modular car,” though the starting price starts with $49,990 but not sure how many really found it affordable. According to the company, the chassis can wear different bodies, different interior layouts, and different drive train options. And we’re not just talking about the initial ordering process – Sin says S1 owners can start with one configuration, then change to another at a later date. The components are interchangeable, or at least, as interchangeable as swapping entire engines and body panels can be.
As you can see in the image the S1 has made its appearance at the Geneva as a roofless doorless roadster, and to be honest, we’re not entirely sold on this particular configuration. Maybe that’s the point – if you don’t like the car you bought, just change the body until something strikes your fancy.

10. IED(Istituto Europeo di Design) and Hyundai Germany's "KITE"

The Istituto Europeo di Design and Hyundai Germany they both collaborated to design the innovative Hyundai Kite concept car, which celebrates its world premiere at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. It is the futuristic interpretation of a Beach buggy. 4 in wheel motor and can convert into a single-seater jet-ski.

The Hyundai Kite is a doorless, roofless and windowless vehicle that can drive both on streets and over water. It consist of a monocoque chassis with a length of 3,745 mm and a height of 1,455 mm.
The designers aimed to reduce barriers between the exterior and interior to create a functional and fun car. The lines convey an idea of floating and freedom, connecting to the idea of spending leisure time near the water.
